<description>Wayne just about said it all about the Evergreen Bonspiel.
It is a great experience having some games in a real club for curling.
The arena is cold, as it should be, but after a few strong sweeps you will be
unzipping that sweater. And the rocks behave as rocks should.

All teams will have four two hour games. There will be three games on Saturday and one Sunday.
Yes, it sounds like a lot, but it will be worth it. Think of the stories.
Dinner will be served Saturday night and we hope to have snacks out most of the time.
The bar will be open Saturday afternoon and evening.
The club has a big screen TV. And believe it or not, it plays something other than curling events.
All curling will be finished by 11:00 AM for one group and by 1:00 PM Sunday for the other group of teams.

There will players from Evergreen, Granite, and two teams from Wenatchee.
How international can we get, eh?
Please join us.

<description>I&#039;ve been curling for less than 2 years, I attended this Bonspiel last year after only 4 weeks of curling. We had a blast and learned so much more about Curling and it&#039;s traditions. More importantly this Bonspiel is about having fun, meeting new folks, and learning the game.

Hope to see you there!

<description>Wearing warmer clothes is a good point Wayne...

Generally the ice temperature will be somewhere between 23 - 24 degrees F and the air temperature somewhere between 32 and 34 F (ideally)... Those thin nylon/polyester/microweave socks may not be enough.

Sometimes outdoor temperatures greatly influence the playing temperatures... The worst for me was an overnight bonspiel in Selkirk, Manitoba... It was -48 F out side and -22 F on the ice...

<description>Many of our newer curlers will have heard or read about the bonspiel we’re holding at the Granite Curling in November. I encourage you to enter to play so you can experience curling on proper curling ice. Experiencing the “club” atmosphere at Granite will make you want a dedicated curling club here in our area too.

One other thing to note is that you need to wear warmer clothes as the rink temperature is around 40 degrees Fahrenheit which is considerably colder than the Lloyd Center. Come prepared but do come. You will have fun!!!
